The town of Pandan in the province of Antique in the Philippines celebrates its yearly Tugbong Festival every April 21-25. This year 2009, there was a Mardi Gras competition again where different barangays of the town of Pandan participated.
On April 25, 2009, Tribu ang taga San Andres of barangay San Andres of Pandan, Antique, Philippines showed its best during the competition. Tribu ang taga San Andres eventually won the grand prize of the annual Mardi Gras competition during Pandan’s Tugbong Festival.
