The people in Pandan speak their own dialect, Pandananon or what we call Kinaray-ang/Kiniray-ang Pandananon, Binisayang Pandan, Pandan-karay-a or Pandaray-a. They also speak Antique’s dialect Kinaray-a as it is and Hiligaynon as a native language. Most people understand other Visayan dialects and native languages like Cebuano, Ilonggo, Aklanon among others and of course Filipino mainly Tagalog. A lot of them could speak these native languages and dialects, as well as Filipino and English. Very few now speak Spanish but somehow still understand some Spanish words because a lot of Visayan words have its rootwords from Spanish.
